I found the answer is only the 2
6 cylinders. 228hp 219lb ft torque. The older ones (W202) had a straight or V 6 cylinder (depending on the year). The straight made 194hp and the V6 made 197hp. The V6 had slightly lower amount of torque.
all u need to do is pull the v6 and the wiring harness out of the car and install v8 with new harness.. v8 will fit right in the v6 frame
you can install an automatic transmission, but i wouldn't try one from a v6 unless your motor is a v6 as well
