Assuming we will weight the diesel in the surface of the earth wherein the gravity are almost constant..(weighting the diesel for practical purpose)

D=M/V

where: D - Density

M - Mass or Weight (W)

V - Volume

Given are V= 1liter (0.001cu.m.)

D= 885kg./cu.m. average unit wt. of diesel.

M=W (because we measure this assuming the gravitational field of earth's surface are constant)

So, 885kg./cu.m.= M/0.001cu.m.

The weight of one liter diesel is .885kg. on earth's surface.
