You can only divide prime numbers by 1 and by themselves.

35 can be also divided by 5 and by 7, so, not a prime.

36 can be also divided by 2, 3, 4, 6, 9, 12, 18, so, not a prime.

37 is a prime because it cannot be divided by any other number than 1 and itself.
