A Remington Model 760 magazine "CAN" be used in the Model 742 Remington if they are the same caliber. The 742 rifle is designed to hold the bolt back after the last round is fired. Along the left side of the 742 magazine there is a bolt release button that will allow the bolt to move forward after a full mag. replaces the empty one. The 760 mag. has the same magazine body but does not have the bolt release button so the bolt will not move forward until the mag. is removed.
To my knowledge the two clips are different in design, and cannot be interchanged.
Yes, Remington makes the 700 in that caliber.
Your Remington model 1903-A3 was made in the year 1942.It was chambered in the caliber 30-06.
Remington did not make a carbine in .44 Magnum caliber. They did chamber the Model 788 rifle in that caliber. Do you have a Ruger carbine in .44 Remington Magnum, or perhaps a Marlin in that caliber? email@example.com
