Right prism who bases are a rectangle?

A general prism has two congruent polygonal bases (faces), while the other faces are parallelogrammatic; a right prism is so-called when the general prism's remaining faces are rectangular. An example of a right prism with two congruent rectangular bases is a cube if all other faces are equal to the bases; a cuboid prism is where the other faces are equal to each other but not necessarily to the bases.

What is the least amount of bases a prism can have?

A prism *always* has 2 bases. In case you meant "faces" instead of "bases", the prism with the smallest number of faces is the triangular prism - which has 5 faces. If there were any fewer number of faces, the prism which become a two dimensional object.

What Prism has two congruent faces?

A Base. * * * * * What? Every prism, by definition, has two congruent faces which may be called the bases of the prism.

How do you determine the base of a prism?

Look at the prism. If all faces are rectangular (or square) then so are the bases. Otherwise they are the two congruent parallel faces that are not rectangular. Look at the prism. You are a polyhedron you are a prism your two bases are hexagons your other two faces are rectangles What are you?

A hexagonal prism

How many faces are there in a trianagular prism?

5 faces- the two triangular bases and then the 3 rectangles that connect the two bases

What are the parallel bases of a triangular prism?

The parallel bases would be the two triangular faces, on either end of the prism.

What is the definition of a hexeganal prism?

A hexagonal prism is a three dimensional shape with two hexagonal bases and six faces. If the faces do not form a right angle with the bases, it is considered an oblique prism.

Which solid has two triangular bases and rectangular side faces?

The triangular prism has the two triangular bases and rectangular side faces.

How many bases do a hexagonal prism have?
