Mathematics, chemistry and physics form much of the basis of engineering - do well at those and you should do well in engineering.

Mathematics is the only applicable subject related to computer programming, but being good at the other two subjects indicates both a logical mindset and good memory for information, which are useful skills in any computer-related field.
