Yes. The three sides uniquely specify the triangle.

If all three sides are equal it is equilateral.

If only two are equal it is isosceles.

If none are equal it is scalene.

If the sum of the squares of the two shorter lengths is equal to the square of the longest length, it is a right angled triangle.

If the sum of the squares on the two shorter sides is less than the square on the longest, it is an obtuse angled triangle. Otherwise it is an acute triangle.

What is the length of the equal sides of an isoceles triangle were the two equal angles are 45 degrees?

This question is not possible to answer. You cannot determine the length of the sides with just the degree of two angles and the type of triangle.

What is a triangle with 3 sides?

All triangles have 3 sides. So it would just be a triangle. But depending on the angles it can alter what type of triangle it is.

How many sides dos a congurent triangle have?

A congruent triangle has three sides, just like any other triangle. The term "congruent" in this context means that the lengths of the sides of the triangle are equal to each other. So, regardless of whether a triangle is congruent or not, it will always have three sides.

Which triangle has exactly two equal sides?

An isosceles triangle has three sides, two of which are exactly equal in length.

How are a triangle and a scalene the same?

a scalene IS a triangle.. Scalene is just a form of triangle with NO equal sides and NO equal angles.

Where is the circumference of an triangle?

There is no circumference of a triangle. If the perimeter of a triangle is what you are wondering about, it is different for each triangle. Just add the three sides together.

Is equilateral triangle is also an isosceles triangle?

Not quite because an equilateral has 3 equal sides whereas an isosceles triangle has only 2 equal sides but they both have 3 sides and 3 interior angles that add up to 180 degrees.
