The sum of the interior angles of a quadrilateral is 360 degrees.
If three of the angles are right angles, that is, of 90 degrees each, the the fourth must be 90 degrees.
So you can have a quadrilateral with three right angles but its fourth angle will also be a right angle. So exactly 3 right angles is not possible.
A bit like a chevron or an arrowhead.
Yes. Not here, of course, but it can be done. Draw a right angle. Draw two more lines from those end points at acute angles that connect in the middle. It will look something like a chevron, a "V" shape.
First you draw a square. A square has 4 right angles. If you draw a line above one of the right angles and rub out the angle which you have drawn a line above you have a pentagon with 3 right angles.
Yes I had a question on my maths test asking me to draw a quadrilateral with one right angle, so yeah, a quadrilateral can have exactly one right angle lol But i havent got a clue how to draw one :S
because if it has more than three obtuse angles than its not a quadrilateral. This is because a quadrilateral has 360 degrees, right? Well an obtuse angle is an angle greater than 90 degrees. That being said the smallest obtuse angle you can have is 91 degrees. If you have four obtuse angles, then the sum of them is greater than 360 (ex: 91+91+91+91=364) and it's geometrically impossible to draw a quadrilateral with 4 obtuse angles.Three obtuse angles are possible if the fourth is acute(less then 90 degrees) and they all add up to 360.-skerr7464
Yes.
Draw a square
It cannot. There is no way to draw a quadrilateral where 3 sides are congruent.
Yes.
yes it is possible
if a figure is a square, then it is a regular quadrilateral
no
The sum of the interior angles of a quadrilateral is 360 degrees so if 3 of them are right angles (90 °) the remaining fourth angle must also be 90 °. 360° - 3x90° = 90°
It is impossible to have a triangle with 3 right angles. It is possible to draw a triangle with three right angles on the surface of a sphere: www.metacafe.com/watch/769025/270_degree_triangle_yes_3_right_angles
Yes. A quadrilateral is any four sided figure, so you could draw any number of these figures that have no right angles...a parallelogram for instance.
no * * * * * Of course, you can. A kite, rhombus, parallelogram, trapezium, chevron are all examples of quadrilaterals which do not or need not have any right angles.
