Are 275 75 16 tires wider than 265 70 16 tires?

yes

Can you replace 245 75 r16 tires for 235 70 r16?

The way you have phrased your question is confusing. If you are saying that the 235/70-16 is the OEM size the answer is NO, this is not an acceptable swap. Going either way this is a bad swap. If your OEM size is 235/70-16 and you want to go to a 75 series tire then you need to install a 215/75-16. If your OEM size is 245/75-16 and you want to go to a 70 series tire then go with a 265/70-16.

What is the difference between 265 75 r16 to 255 70 r16 in tire size?

Allot of difference. The 265/75-16 is 5.03% 1.59" larger in overall diameter than the 255/70-16 and is a narrower tire. These 2 sizes are not interchangeable.

Can you replace P265-75-R16 tires with 265-70-R16?

Of course you can but you should not. The 70 series tire will have a 1" smaller diameter than the 75 series tire. Your speedometer will be 2 mph too slow. A better substitute would be a 285/70-16.

They are the same.

What is the largest tire you can fit on a stock 03 Tahoe?

The 2003 Chevrolet Tahoe (4WD) was offered in 16 and 17 inch wheels. The 16 inches sizes included 265/70/16, 245/75/16, 265/75/16 and 265/70/17. If the vehicle is fitted with aftermarket wheels and tires (and the load rating is appropriate) 26 inch wheels with 305/30/26 are possible.

Will 265-75-r16 fit on a 265-70-r16?

Yes - The difference is the 70 is a lower profile or less height.

Can you use 245 70 r16 tire to replace a 245 75 r16 tire?

Of course you can but, this is an unacceptable swap. The 245/70 series tire will be 3.16% (1") too small in overall diameter. Your speedometer will read 61.9 at a true 60 mph. Braking, handling, ride, performance, and fuel economy will be adversely effected. If you wish to go to a 70 series tire then install size 265/70-16 which is an excellent swap. 255/70-16 is acceptable but not as good as a 265/70-16.

Can you replace 265 70 r16 with 265 75 r16?

Yes. the diameter will be a little less but it will still work. You won't notice much difference at all except for more responsive steering and less roll.

Can you replace stock tires on 2001 Toyota Tacoma 265-70-16 with 225-75-16?

Yes you can, as long as you replace all four tires. Having different sizes tires on the vehicle will ruin the diff as the car believes it is constantly cornering, thus wearing either side at a different rate.
