The greatest common factor is 18.

An easy way to figure it out is to simplify them as far as you can.


126 = 63*2 = 21*3*2 = 7*3*3*2
180 = 90*2 = 45*2*2 = 15*3*2*2 = 5*3*3*2*2


And see what they have in common ~ 2, 3, 3
Multiply these and you've got you answer. 2*3*3=18
