A composite number is a number that has factors other than 1 and itself. Assuming that you are not including the numbers 25 and 35. Prime numbers are numbers whose only factors are itself and one, so if you find the prime factors of each number:

26 factors to 2, 13

27 factors to 3,3,3

29 prime

30 factors to 2, 3, 5

31 prime

32 factors to 2,2,2,2,2

33 factors to 3, 11

34 factors to 2, 17.
