No, amperage is not additive, but a constant. Think of power as water, its always the same temperature, hot (amps). The pressure is variable (volts). The true answer is undoubtedly more complex, but you get the point. If you need to draw 200 amps you would actually need a 400 amp service because code states you cannot have more than an 80% load on a breaker
That's an interesting question and I had to run the theory through my brain a few times to confirm my answer. The answer is if you have a 100A 240V service, you could draw what appears to be 200A from that panel at 120V.
If you install 100A 120V single pole breakers on each side of the panel (in reality this would be many breakers but let's keep it simple) then both breakers will operate just fine, giving the appearance of 200A. In reality, however, one breaker actually feeds through to the other breaker. The neutral only carries the unbalanced load so in this hypothetical situation the neutral at the panel carries 0A.
So the answer to the question is...if you install ONLY 120v single pole breakers, you can run up to 200A on those circuits (or 80% of that as we have discussed.) But you are only running 100A on each leg of the service conductors and breaker.
The maximum distance of a wire drop between a service pole and service connection is undefined, as it depends on many factors not included in the question. The information needed to actually compute such a distance includes, but it is not limited to, the service volts, the service Class (60, 100, 200, 400 or more amps), and whether or not the drop involves a mid span tap -- that is, the service is actually connected not to a pole, but it is connected to secondary wires between two poles. <<>> A utility company will usually bring their service a maximum of 100 feet on to private property.
Name plate data should indicate the number of poles / RPM. For speed N= (120 x Frequency) / Number of poles Using this formula you can find out the number of poles, provided you have other parameters available. If no data is available, run the motor on no load, and measure the rpm, know the frequency, calculate the poles.
because N=(120*f)/P where N= speed in rpm f= frequency in Hz P= no. of poles as the relations shows above it is cleare that speed of machine inversly proportional to no. of poles.. so as the poles increses, speed of the machine decreses
poles are the plot of the transfer function of a system on the left side of the origin, in s-plane. zeroes are the right side plot. poles and zeroes specifies the absolute stability of the system.. they also gives the observability and controllability of the system..
The number of poles on stator and rotor is always the same. If they are not equal?æno torque will be produced, thus, the machine will not function.?æ
Depletion of ozone layer is near the poles. It is actually at the poles. It is because of low weather.
quadrangle includes 6 poles. 2 timing poles and 4 poles that you actually turn. the four poles that you turn are each 75 feet apart from each other forming a square. the timing poles are directly in the center of the square and are 30 feet apart from each other.

The three south poles are the south pole and the other pole and the other one which is surprisingly a pole haha I don't actually know the answer
Curtains can be made from a number of different materials and it is worth considering this when purchasing curtain poles as heavier curtains will require sturdier poles. Curtains can be made from cloth, wool, polyester, velvet and suede amongst other materials.
Polar displacement. I think what your referring to if we are talking in a geological sense is actually called polar wandering and it is the apparent movement of the north and south poles over geological time however the poles are actually not the objects moving it is the continental landmasses under plate tectonics moving the land under the poles. The poles do move slightly before they reverse however plate tectonics is the main cause of polar wandering.
Easy access to service and repair them.
The choice in electricity suppliers is usually limited by location. Considering the price of wiring and poles, most places do not have more then one provider.
There are a few online websites that sell Maver Poles. The best place to check for Maver Poles would be Ebay because they actually have some in stock.
it is said that the the Americans let the Jews actually abuse the Germans and tortured them to death. they actually did revenge on them.
Duct is another name for a group of conducts that are used in underground systems. A duct bank can be used to bring an underground service to buildings without having to string wires on poles. A good example of this is a service that feeds a shopping center. Service poles would look unsightly crossing the area over the parking lot and into the building.
north and south actually Santa lives in the north
