∙ 13y agoA simple definition is that the absolute value of a number is how many places away from zero it is on a number line. Say you have the number three. The number three is three places away from zero on a number line. Say you have the number negative three. That number is also three spots away from zero on the number line. That is why there is no such thing as negative absolute values.
No. A rational number is one that may be represented as a simple multiple, or a division. Such as one times seven, or three times seven; OR one divided by seven, or three divided by seven. Or similar.A rational number, if a fraction, when multiplied by the divisor of the fraction, will give a simple whole number. e.g. 7/5, when multiplied by 5 becomes the whole number 7.An irrational number is one that cannot be formed by a simple ratio, or a simple division. e and pi are a couple of common irrational numbers. [irrational demonstrates where the name comes from.]No number can be found which will convert them, by multiplication, into a whole number.
A three digit number is any counting number between 100 and 999 (inclusive). It is made up of three digits, the first of which cannot be 0.
No. A "prime number", by definition, cannot be divided evenly by any other number.
For each drawing . . .-- Draw a small number of circles.-- Draw that same number of circles again.-- Draw that same number of triangles three times. To create a different drawing, do exactly the same thing, but start out with a different small number.
Three fourths is a fraction. It is NOT a whole number and cannot be represented by one. It is as simple as that.
No it cannot be simplified. Three is a prime number.
A single number cannot produce a product.
A zero

Three over seven in simple form is 3/7. This is a math problem.

A three digit number cannot be divisible by a 5 digit number - in any base.
Nobody owns numbers and so they cannot be for sale.
Three cannot at all fit seven. In order for a division to produce a whole number or a quotient with a remainder, the divisor (the number being divided by) must be less than the dividend (the number being divided). Since 7 is larger than 3, it cannot be divided into 3 equally in this instance.

0.375 is not a whole number and cannot be a whole number. The nearest whole number is 0.
