only difference is that binary is only consists of 0 and 1 bits, where as digital means it may either contain binary bits (0,1), or contain the numeric digit (0-9), mainely digital means just the number between 0 to 9

What type information system would be recognized by digital system?

A digital system can recognize digital data i.e. data only in form of 0 & 1, if data is not in digital form we have to convert it using analog to digital converters.

What is the difference between a modem and a codec?

* Codec is for coding analog data into digital form and decoding it back. The digital data coded by Codec are samples of analog waves. * Modem is for modulating digital data into analog form and demodulating it back. The analog symbols carry digital data.

Why must sound and video input to a PC be converted from analog to digital?

Because in order to preserve the original sound, a digital sampling rate must be twice the frequency of the analog signalAnalog data is smooth and continuous, where as digital data, such as the binary data used in computers, has distinct gradations. The process of producing digital data by measuring data at a series of representative points is called sampling.

What is the difference between binary tree and tree data structure?

binary tree is a specific tree data structure where each node can have at most 2 children nodes. In a general Tree data structure nodes can have infinite children nodes.

What is the alteration called when digital or analog signals are altered to represent binary data?

The system that digital computers use to represent numeric data?

It uses the Binary Numbering System.

What is difference between decade counter and binary counter?

What is the difference between digital computers and hybrid computers?

Digital computers are purely digital, i.e. they use digital(electronic) means to process data. Hybrid computers conversely use both digital and analog technologies.
