This is a YES! You will need to take algebra 2 as a high school course which will eligible you to qualify into state colleges. A-G requirements are also what many college look at and decides. For example 3 years of math(alg1,geometry,alg2) will make you be eligible or states as for University is 4 years of math. But city colleges, you may not need alg2 but your math assessment in high school. Colleges also will have placement test that will test your math skills and rank you amongst how your score is as well.
College Algebra is a specific subject test, so you will need Algebra knowledge. However, if you have high school Algebra II level knowledge, it shouldn't be a problem for you. My only preparation for that exam was a high school Algebra II course. **Full Disclosure* I am an employee of www.SpeedyPrep.com, a 100% Guaranteed CLEP exam preparation site.*
You need to at least pass high school. In high school you need to take health and P.E. College is not required, but you get more pay with a college degree.
There are lots of good introductory calculus books. Please note that to understand them, you need to have a good mastery of high school math, especially algebra.
You should probably take classes that relate to your desired career, if any are offered at your high school. General classes to take are English and Math, and other college-preparatory classes. In the end though, the classes that you choose in high school generally won't matter as much to a college as how well you did (your GPA (grade pooint average)) and your test scores. If you are trying to get into a really prestigious college it would matter more.
You are right for asking that question. most people think that algebra is important to society and technology, and drugs. but how often do you need to use a graph and take 3 painful minutes just to figure out meaningless information you could have gotten without it. It is completely useless for higher education, and the leaders of the school boards are blind stubborn morons for thinking any teenager is going to willingly accept it and learn it. it should not be a college prep course but instead an optional course in college for people wanting to go into areas of science and math. THE FACT OF THE MATTER IS algebra is for some but mostly useless. its not even good bro its a waste of high school time, and your guessing its not used for anything but making people fall asleep.

You mean, in high school, to prepare for college? The courses taught in high school will probably vary from one country to another, and from one college to another, but typically include algebra, geometry, trigonometry (which might be included in algebra), and perhaps a few others, such as a second algebra course. You don't really need any of these for college, unless you study some sort of engineering in college. In college itself, if you DO study engineering, you'll need several advanced math subjects.
To study Sonography you have to have taken algebra, chemistry, and physics in high school and passed each with at least a C average. If you are out of high school, you can take the courses at a local technical college.
No, you do not need a high school diploma to attend any course at a community college. You do need a high school equivilant such as a GED.
you need a GED or high school dipolma!
I'm pretty sure you need a GED (a high school diploma) to get into any college.
Anesthesiologists are doctors. It isn't the high school classes so much as the college classes that will get you into medical school. In high school you need good grades so that you can get into a good college. And in college you will need good grades to get into medical school. After medical school, you then study to acquire your anesthesiologist certification.
Yes.
Well you will need to go to college to be a pediatrician so you have to either get your GED or high school diploma. I suggest you get your diploma.
You need to be either in high school or college or you can be a graduate.
Depends on the admission policies of the college
