yes! an octagon does have rotation symmetry since each of the octagons sides are a sum of 1,080 and each angle is 135 degrees. The octagon has all the same lengths of sides. So you are able to turn the octagon only once and it will look the same just not be in the same position. :)

An octagon is a 2-dimensional figure, not a line of symmetry. However, it has several lines of symmetry.

An octagon has 8 lines of reflective symmetry.

If it's a regular 8 sided octagon then it rotational symmetry to the order of 8

16 * * * * * Not sure what a rectangular octagon is but no kind of octagon has more than 8 lines of symmetry.

I believe that an octagon has 16 lines of symmetry.

An octagon has eight-fold rotational symmetry, because rotation of octagon by 45 degrees (one-eighth of a full circle) produces a figure that is superimposible on (or congruent to) the original.

There are no right angles in an octagon. An 8 sided octagon normally has no right angles.

A regular octagon has 8 lines of symmetry.

A regular hexagon has rotational symmetry of 6. Usually we can figure out the rotational symmetry of most shapes by looking at how many sides they have. Such as an octagon has rotational symmetry of 8 ect. Hope it helped!

A regular octagon has 8 lines of symmetry. See the Related Link below that includes a diagram of an octagon with the lines of symmetry drawn. A non-symmetrical octagon may have between 0-4 lines of symmetry.

A) 68 degrees B) 135 degrees C) 90 degrees D) 45 degrees

A regular octagon has 8 lines of symmetry and one center point of symmetry An octagon can also have fewer lines of symmetry: 0, 2 or 4 .
