How 1600 x 1600 pixels in inches?

There is no way to give a real answer for that. Pixels do not have a consistent size, so they can't be universally converted. Pixels change size depending on the density of the thing displaying them (72 dots per inch is typical for screens and 300 dpi is typically selected for something that will be printed as form of Quality Photo). For screens size differs based on "Pitch" of the screen(distance between two consecutive pixels) thus even small screens with low pitch value can display high resolutions!

However, to simply measure the width and height of your monitor at high accuracy just use the "Jruler" application

Well, Then if there size is 7 dots and keep a consistent size, then cant you multiply them?

The main solution is how you want to scale your element with DPI. For instance: 100 DPI = 3 inch. So you have to measure your size accordingly.

Therefore, 1600 x 1600 pixels at 72 ppi would be equivalent to a 22.22 inch x 22.22 inch image. However, if the image is intended for printing or other high-resolution purposes, a higher dpi should be used to ensure image quality.

Change the scale % to something over a hundred. For example, if you want a picture to be double the size then set it to 200%. For example, if you have an image that is 800 x 800 pixels, and you scale it to 200% then it will come out as 1600 x 1600.

a 23 inch 1920x1080 pixel LCD screen (110% text size) shows it as 5.75 inches wide. a 19 inch 1280x960 pixel CRT screen shows this image as 5.6 inches wide. a 17 inch 1024x768 pixel CRT monitor shows it 6.0 inches wide. an iPhone 5S shows it 3 inches wide (if held in horizontal orientation).

To understand pixels, we first need to understand dots per inches. As the name suggest number of dots per inches. Higher the dots, higher the resolution. Computer doesn't paint the sketches as you do on paper, instead of that it puts dots in a systematic manner which exactly looks like an image.

To calculate pixels in inches, you need to divide the pixels with DPI. Lesser the DPI, more the inches and vice versa. There is an inverse relationship between dots per inches and pixels.

That measurement refers to the resolution of an image. In a computer setup 1600 x 1600 x screen size of monitor would give you the total DPI which is Dots Per Inch which is how picture quality of the image your monitor puts out would be calculated. Theres an infinite amount of variables for the size of the picture in inches because that measurment is varying. Basically the formula tells you what size of the monitor or tv is needed in order to see video and images with enough resolution so that the individual pizels which make up the image are unable to be seen by the human eye. You can seen the pixels when an image appears to be Distorted. Its distorted because the size its currently being shown in (1600 x 1600) requires more pixels to show clearly than the image was originally captured in.

A "high resolution" image for printing is almost always 300 DPI (dots per inch) and larger. This is the resolution of most printers. To determine how to print your image in high resolution (300 DPI), take the inches of your image and multiply both the width and height by 300. That means in order to create a 8 x 8 print on a 300 DPI printer, you want 2400 x 2400 pixels

That depends on the size of the screen. Pixels are proportional to the screen size, so a screen with 1,600 × 1,600 pixels that is on a phone or small tablet will have much smaller pixels than a 1,600 × 1,600 pixel flat screen television screen 4 or 5 feet wide.

To convert pixels to inches, you have to divide pixels by resolution. For example, a 600 x 400 pixels image displayed on a 96 DPI screen is going to have 6.25 x 4.17 inches when printed.

To find the resolution of an image in DPI, you need to know the image width in both pixels and inches. You get more answers click and read my articles.
