  1. Divide by three. If you have no remainder, it is a multiple of three.

and if you and the digits up like say for example 63 is it a multiple of 3 and the answer is yes because 6 add 3 makes 9 and 9 is in the 3 times table.

Is 92 a multiple of 3?

No, 92 is not a multiple of 3. A quick way to check if a number is a multiple of 3 is: add up the digits of the number you are checking; if this sum equals 3 or a multiple of 3, then the number is a multiple of 3. So in this case, 92 --> 9+2=11, which is not a multiple of 3. If you have to you can add again, so for 11 --> 1+1=2, which is not a multiple of 3. You can always repetitively add until you get to a single digit answer: if it's 3,6 or 9 then it's a multiple of 3. Also if your sum is 9 or a multiple of 9, then the original number is a multiple of 9. To check for 6, if a number is a multiple of 3, and also a multiple of 2 (an even number), then the number is a multiple of 6.

Is 101 a multiple of 3?

101 is not a multiple of 3. The easiest way to check if a number is the same multiple of another is to divide the biggest number by the smallest, eg. 101/3 = 33.666... The closest multiples of 3 is 102 or even 99.

Is 108 in the 3 times table?

Yes. 1+0+8 = 9 = 3 x 3 so 108 is a multiple of 3, thus it appears in the 3 times table [To check if a number is a multiple of 3, add its digits together and if the sum is a multiple of 3 then the original number is a multiple of 3.] [108 = 3 x 36]

Is 19 a multiple of 3?

No. To check if a number is a multiple of 3 add its digits together and if this sum is a multiple of 3, then so is the original number. This sum can be continued until a single digit remains; if the single digit is 3, 6 or 9 then the original number is a multiple of 3, otherwise not. 19 → 1 + 9 = 10 10 → 1 + 0 = 1 which is not 3, 6 or 9, so 19 is not a multiple of 3.

Is 4339 divisible by 3?

No. To find if a number is a factor of 3, add the number's digits. If the resulting number is a multiple of 3, then the original number is a multiple of 3. In 4339, the digits of the number added together is 19, which is not a multiple of 3.

What is the least common multiple of 3 and?

It would help to have that other number. If the other number is a multiple of 3, the LCM is that number. If it is not a multiple of 3, the LCM is 3 times that number.

Is 5830 divisible by 3?

To check for divisibility by three:Add together the digits in the number. If the total is a multiple of 3 then the number is divisible by three.E.g. 5830. 5 + 8 + 3 + 0 = 16. Since 16 is not a multiple of three then 5830 is not divisible by three.
