∙ 8y agoYou need to multiply the base by the PERPENDICULAR height. If you know only the INCLINED height, you simply don't have enough information. If you also know the angle, you can calculate the perpendicular height with some simple trigonometry.

Area of parallelogram: 10 times 4.5 = 45 square meters
It is: 58.2/9.7 = 6 meters
Square meters x 10.764 = square feet.
Area = 6*9 = 54 square meters
Multiply the number of square meters by 10.7639 to get square feet.
The area of a parallelogram is given by the formula: area = base * height. Therefore, the area of the parallelogram with a base of 20 meters and a height of 12 meters will be 240 square meters.
height in meters multiplied by length in meters

What is the area of a parallelogram with a base of 4 meters and a height of 10 meters?
15 meters
It is: 58.2/9.7 = 6 meters
Square meters x 10.764 = square feet.
Area = 6*9 = 54 square meters
Multiply the number of square meters by 10.7639 to get square feet.
(251 square meters = 2,701.74151 square feet). Multiply square meters by 10.7639104 to get square feet.
None. You need a second dimension to calculate square meters.
Calculation of an area depends on what type of area you are trying to measure. The formula for a square (s2) is different for that of a rectangle (lw), which is different from that of parallelogram (bh). See the list of related articles for how to calculate various areas.
