By "cbm" I'm assuming you mean, "cubic meters".
First, you have to convert inches to meters. One inch = 0.0254 meters.
So:
16 inches = 16 * 0.0254 meters
16 inches = 0.4064 meters
20 inches = 20 * 0.0254 meters
20 inches = 0.508 meters
Now you use those numbers to calculate the volume of the drum in cubic meters:
Volume = (pi * Radius^2) * Length (Note: ^ means to the power of)
Length is 0.508 meters. Radius is 1/2 diameter, or 0.4064/2 = 0.2032.
Volume = (pi * 0.2032^2) * 0.508
Volume = (3.14159 * 0.2032^2) * 0.508
Volume = (3.14159 * 0.04129) * 0.508
Volume = (0.129717) * 0.508
Volume = 0.065896
Answer: 0.065896 cubic meters or about 66/1000 of a cubic meter
The drum should measure 23 inches diameter 36 inches height These are all external measurements.
Thereare different shapes of drum, but most 25 gallon drums are about 30 inches high
calculate the volume of a cylindrical drum 18 cm in diameter 56 in deep
More data is required. I assume the drum has the form of a cylinder; the volume of a cylinder is calculated as pi x radius squared times height. Different combinations of radios and height can give the same volume.
A 55 gallon drum is just a cylinder and, as such, the volume can be determined by the formula ¶r2h (Pi times radius squared times height). According to Wikipedia, standard 55 gallon drums are 22.5 inches in diameter and 33.5 inches high. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/55_gallon_drum The equation is thus 3.14 * 11.25^2 * 33.5. That comes out to 13313 cubic inches or 7.7 cubic feet.
Height = 36 inches (3 feet) Diameter = 21 inches
calculate the volume of water a drum can take the drum is 72inch diameter by60inch height
You need to know the radius/diameter or the height of the drum.
pi*radius2*height = volume in cubic units pi*12.52*48 = 23561.9449 cubic inches
The drum should measure 23 inches diameter 36 inches height These are all external measurements.
A 60 liter drum typically has an inner diameter of 380 mm and an outer diameter of 395 mm. The height is 575 mm, and the weight is 4,1 kg. In US measurements the inner diameter is 14.96 inches, the outer is 15.55 inches, and the height is 22.64 inches. The weight is 9.04 pounds.
The dimensions of a 210 liter steel drum is 890 mm high by 580 mm diameter. The weight empty is typically 16 kg.
I calculate it to be 8.0 cu ft. 26.5 inch diameter drum that is 25 inches deep.
The dimensions for a 20 gallon drum is 21.75 inches high, 18.25 inches inside diameter, and 18.75 inches outside diameter. It can accommodate a load of 199 pounds.
c=ttr
Anything from a few inches to 6 or 7 feet in diameter.
V=(πD2/4)h where D is the diameter of the 55 gallon drum and h is the height of the oil. Or if you prefer V=(2πr2h where r is the radius of the drum and h is as above.
