Take the percent and divide that by 100. Example: 10% = 10/100 Then divide both numbers by a common factor. Example: 10 and 100 can be divided by 10 10% = 10/100 = 1/10 divide by 100, 12% is 12 divided by 100
Percent is a short-hand notation with the value over 100. In other words, percent is a fraction with the value in the numerator and 100 in the denominator. Example: 25% is 25/100 which can be simplified to 1/4.

Answer converting fraction to percent

3/5 of 100 is 100 multiplied by 3 =300 divided by 5=60 so 60%

answer

'percent' just means 'per 100', so you can convert any fraction to a percentage just be adjusting it so its out of 100. example: the fraction 7/20 is the same as the fraction 35/100

7/20 = 7/20*1 = 7/20*5/5 = (7*5)/(20*5) = 35/100

35/100 = .35 or 35%, so 7/20 = 35%

You do 7 \ 20, or the numerator divided by the denomonator, and multiply the answer by 100. That gives you the percent ;) Peace
It is simply 33/1 as an improper fraction

First divide the numerator by the denominator. The multiply the result by 100. Finally, add a percent sign (%) to the end of the number.

Example:

1/2

1 divided by 2 = 0.5

0.5*100=50

Add the percent sign: 50%

50% = 1/2
