You can't, because cm2 is an area, but mL is a volume. However, 1 cm3 = 1 mL.
You mentioned cm2, which is square cm, a unit of area. The Liter is a unit of volume, related to cubic cm or cm3. I assume you mean 125 cm3. 1 cm3 = 1 mL = (1/1000) L = .001L 125 cm3 = 125mL = .125L
