With extreme difficultly as they measure different things:
mass is a measure of how much something weighs*, whereas
length is a measure of distance.
* Actually weight is the force on a mass due to acceleration and is measured in Newtons. However, weight and mass are often, incorrectly, used interchangeably and I cannot think of a better word to describe mass.
To further muddy the waters, mass and distance ARE related by energy and acceleration:
energy = (mass × acceleration) × distance
which can be rearranged to
distance = energy ÷ (mass × acceleration)
So for an object given a mass, an acceleration (on earth acceleration due to gravity is a good one) and an amount of energy put in, the distance the object is moved (by that energy [in acting as a force]) can be calculated.
you can't convert distance to mass. that would be like saying "how do you convert tablespoons to seconds?"
sorry to say... you cant convert a mass to a distance..
you don't. Meter is a distance unit, and kilogram is a mass unit.
you can't. metre is length or distance, gram is mass (weight)
You don't. Kilograms are mass. Meters are distance. It's like trying to convert yards to pounds.
kilometers measures distance and grams measures weight or mass. You can not convert one to the oher.
You cannot. Kilograms are a measure of mass, yards are a measure of length or distance.
It is impossible to convert the measure of weight (mass) to the measure of length (distance). Forget the not necessary word "linear".
Sorry, can't be done. Grams relate to MASS, Yards relate to DISTANCE.
Grams measure mass; millimeters measure distance. You cannot convert one into the other.
You can measure mass in milligrams but you do not convert mass into milligrams?
to convert mass into moles you divide by the molar mass. You cannot convert molar mass directly to moles.
A kilogram is a unit of mass. A metre is a unit of distance. The two units are therefore incompatible.
Grams is mass, or weight, yards were distance, there is o conversion.
A decagram is a unit of mass. A centimetre is a unit of distance. The two units are therefore incompatible.
There is no way to convert kilograms into kilometers. They are measuring two different things. Kilograms is measuring mass while kilometers is measuring distance.You don't. Kilograms is a unit of mass; meters and kilometers are a unit of length, so it doesn't make sense to convert them
You can convert volume to mass by multiplying the volume by its density.
Gram is a unit of mass. Kilometer is a unit of distance. You cannot convert between these two dimensions.
A gram is a unit of mass. A kilometre is a unit of distance. The two units are therefore incompatible.
A ton is a unit of mass. A kilometre is a unit of distance. The two units are therefore incompatible.
Kilometers are a measure of distance. Pounds are a measure of weight. One does not convert to the other. However, it is possible you meant kilogram, not kilometers. 1 kilogram is about 2.2 pounds, so 5 pounds would be about 2.26 kilograms.not possible to convert a distance measure to a mass measure !!!!
Grams are a measurement of mass. Metres are a measurement of distance. Thus you can't convert from one to the other.
none, a linear meter is a distance, a kilogram is mass, there is no way to convert from one to the other.
A meter is a unit of distance. A kilogram is a unit of mass. You cannot convert between the two.
mass * distance is i think moment
