you cannot convert hours to miles, they are differnt units.

If you know speed, you can compute miles from hours.

DISTANCE = SPEED x TIME

say yiu are going 60 mph for one hour

DISTANCE = 60 x 1 = 60 miles

Go to Google and type, for example, "1,000,000,000 kilometers in astronomical units". Note that this does not do a Web search; Google, in this case, functions as a calculator. The commas are optional, but they help make the input more readable. Or shorter: "1e9 km in au". 1e9 means that the 1 is to be followed by 9 zeroes (1 x 109).

If you want to know how to do the calculations yourself: 1 astronomical unit is approximately 150 million kilometers (150,000,000 km). Therefore, to convert from AU to kilometers, you multiply by 150 million; to convert from kilometers to AU, you divide by 150 million.
