There are, unfortunately, two ways of expressing the answer.

Answer I:

5/3 = 1 with a remainder of 2 and so -5/3 = -1 with a remainder of -2.

Answer II:

Mathematicians normally require the remainder to be between 0 and the divisor. To do this,

-5/3 = (-6 + 1)/3 = -6/3 + 1/3 = -2 and remainder +1.

Your question's meaning eludes me. You can divide any number by 5, whether or not it is a remainder, and why would you want to divide a remainder by 5 anyway?
