If that's the whole problem then the answer would be: m-1 /n (make the -1 an exponet) Or 10 -1 (<- Exponet) / 2 = 0.05 You see the exponet -1 meens basicly the normal exponet only in decimal form

Examples: (e meens the next number is the exponet)

Normal: 10e1 = 10 Negative: 10e-1 = 0.01 or 1 tenth

Normal: 10e2 = 100 Negative: 10e-2 = 0.01 or 1 hundreth

Hope this helped!!!

What is the procedure in converting scientific notation to natural notation?

Move the decimal point the same number of digits as the power of the 10. If the power is negative move to the left, positive to the right. If the digits run out before the decimal point has move enough digits, insert zeros until the decimal point has moved enough digits. If the decimal point ends up after the units digits and there are no decimal digits (ie the number is a whole number), the decimal point can be removed; if the decimal point is in front of the first digit, write a zero in front of it.examples:1.23 x 101power of 10 is 1, so move decimal point 1 digit to the right1.23 ⇒ 12.31.23 x 102power of 10 is 2, so move decimal point 2 digits to the right1.23 ⇒ 123.decimal point after units, number is a whole number, so 123. ⇒ 1231.23 x 103power of 10 is 3, so move decimal point 3 digits to the right1.23 ⇒ 1230. (inserting a zero)decimal point after units, number is a whole number, so 1230. ⇒ 12301.23 x 100power of 10 is 0, so move decimal point 0 digits to the right1.23 ⇒ 1.231.23 x 10-1power of 10 is -1, so move decimal point 1 digit to the left1.23 ⇒ .123Decimal point before first digit, precede by a zero: .123 ⇒ 0.1231.23 x 10-3power of 10 is -3, so move decimal point 3 digits to the left1.23 ⇒ .00123 (inserting two zeros)Decimal point before first digit, precede by a zero: .00123 ⇒ 0.00123

How many moles of photons with a wavelength of 660 nm are needed to provide 6 kJ of energy?

The energy carried by a photon is given byE = hfWhere h is Planck's constant (6.626x10^-34 Joule-seconds) and f is the frequency of the photon in Hertz (Hz).We are given the wavelength of the photon in the question in nanometers (nm). First, we need to convert this to (SI) units, because our equations only work with SI units. Then, we will calculate the frequency of the photon from its wavelength. Once we know the frequency of the photon we're interested in, we simply use the equation above to find the energy carried by one of them. Then we divide 6 kJ by that amount of energy, and the quotient will be the number of photons needed to carry 6 kJ. Finally, when we know the number of photons we need, we divide by the number of photons in a mole to get the number of moles. The SI unit of length is the meter (m). 1nanometer (nm) is 10^-9 meters.660 nm = 660 *10^-9 m = 6.6*10^-7 m.Now we will calculate this photon's frequency from its wavelength. These are related by the equationc = fLwhere c is the speed of light (3*10^8 m/s), f is the frequency of the photon and L is the wavelength of the photon.c = fL(3*10^8 m/s) = f * (6.6*10^-7 m)solving for f, we havef = (3*10^8 m/s) / (6.6*10^-7 m) = 4.54*10^15 s^-1Note that the unit of seconds (s) raised to the -1power is defined as 1 Hertz (Hz).f = 4.54*10^15 HzNow we will use the top equation to solve for the energy carried by one photon having this frequency.E = hfE = (6.626*10^-34 Js) * (4.54*10^15 Hz)E = 1.369*10^-17 JThis is how much energy is carried by one photon of wavelength 660 nm (which will also have a frequency of 4.54*10^15 Hz).How many of these do we need to provide 6 kJ? This is solved by simple division. Keeping in mind that 1 kJ = 1000 J, we haveNumber of photons * Energy per photon = 6 kJNumber of photons * (1.369*10^-17 J/photon) = 6 kJNumber of photons * (1.369*10^-17 J/photon) = 6000 JNumber of photons = 6000 J / (1.369*10^-17 J/photon)Number of photons = 4.382*10^20 photonsThis is how many photons (at this frequency) are needed to provide 6 kJ. How many moles of photons is this?Number of photons / number of photons in a mole = number of molesRecall that a mole of something is defined as 6.02*10^23of it. The same way a dozen eggs is defined as 12 eggs, a mole of eggs is 6.02*10^23 eggs. Equivalently, a mole of photons is 6.02*10^23 photons. SoNumber of photons / (6.02*10^23 photons per mole) = number of moles(4.382*10^20 photons) / (6.02*10^23 photons per mole) = number of moles7.279*10^-4 moles = number of molesForgive me if my arithmetic is off, as I don't have a good calculator handy. However, I believe this is the correct method to use.

How can I install a wireless bridge?

A wireless bridge is a device that creates a network. Devices that connect to the bridge can communicate with each other. For example, a wireless- equipped desktop computer could communicate with and print to a wireless network printer if they were connected to the same wireless bridge. Bridges can also connect to devices such as routers that provide high-speed Internet access from an Internet Service Provider, or ISP. You can set up a wireless bridge to connect to a router so that the wireless computers connected to the bridge can share the high-speed Internet access and communicate with each other.Instructions Things You'll Need:• Power adapter that shipped with bridge• Ethernet cable• Device product CDStep 1Power up the bridge. Plug one end of the AC power adapter with which the device shipped into the power jack on the bridge and the other into an electrical wall outlet. If the device can function as both a bridge and an access point, set the device to "bridge" mode following the manufacturer's instructions. Press the device's power button if necessary; instructions for finding it will be provided in the device's user guide. For example, the D-Link DAP-1522 Xtreme N Duo Wireless Bridge does not have a power button and starts when it is plugged into the electrical wall outlet.Step 2Connect via Ethernet. Plug one end of an Ethernet cable into an Ethernet port on the bridge. Ethernet ports are generally placed on the back of the bridge. Plug the other end of the Ethernet cable into the computer that had previously been connected directly to your Internet access device.Step 3Configure the bridge. Open a web browser and navigate to the address for the bridge's configuration management interface. The address will vary depending on the manufacturer. For example, to configure a D-Link DAP- 1522, type http://DLINKAP in the browser's address bar.Step 4Enter a user name and password to access the bridge's management interface when prompted. Both will be provided in the device's user guide. The default user name for the DAP-1522 is admin and, also by default, there is no password; leave the password text box blank.Step 5Start the connection wizard. The main page of the bridge's management interface will generally have an automated connection process. For a D- Link DAP-1522, click the "Launch Wireless Setup Wizard" button. Follow the prompts. Insert the product CD if prompted. Close the wizard when it finishes.Step 6Move the device to its permanent location. Unplug the Ethernet cable from your computer and unplug the bridge's power adapter from the electrical wall outlet. Place the bridge close to your high-speed Internet access device. Plug the power adapter from the bridge into an electrical wall outlet. Plug the Ethernet cable from the bridge into the designated Ethernet port on your Internet access device as directed in device's user guide. This completes the process.
