e.g. 5x4


is the same as 4 'lots' of 5


so it is 5+5+5+5


and the answer is 20.


e.g. 13x12


is the same as 12 'lots' of 13


so it is 13+13+13+13+13+13+13+13+13+13+13+13


and the answer is 156.
