You have to put them over a common denominator.

These numbers can be expressed as:

66/90 35/90 54/90 50/90

So in order they are:

35/90 50/90 54/90 66/90

Or back in their original terms:

7/18 9/9 3/5 11/15

[Alternatively you could convert them all to decimals.]

When you arrange a set of numbers and asked to put them from least to greatest, it means you have to put the smallest number first, then the second smallest, etc.

if you were given 8, 34, 1, 17, 22, 12, and 3

least to greatest would look like: 1, 3, 8, 12, 17, 22, 34

3/8 < 1/2 < 3/4

An easy way to see this is to convert to decimals:

3/8 = 0.375

1/2 = 0.5 = 0.500

3/4 = 0.75 = 0.750
