You can't. The base doesn't tell you the height. There are an infinite number of

different right triangles with different heights that all have the same base.

You need to know something else in addition to the base, such as the area,

the length of the hypotenuse, or the value of one acute angle.

How do you find the height of a triangle while not knowing the area?

It's simple. Measure it!

Does a right triangle or a rectangle have the most right angles?

Rectangle has more right angles than the right triangle. The right triangle only has 1 right angle, while the rectangle has 4.

Is an obtuse triangle a right triangle?

its a triangle * * * * * No, it an obtuse triangle is not a right angle triangle. An obtuse angled triangle has one angle which is greater than 90 degrees and the other two are acute. In a right angled triangle, the largest angle is 90 degrees while the other two are acute. So one cannot be the other.

Which is not a quadrilateral a rhobus a rectangle a right triangle or a trapezoid?

A right triangle is not a quadrilateral. A quadrilateral is a polygon with four sides, while a right triangle has only three sides.

Is a right triangle not a quadrilateral?

A right triangle is not a quadrilateral. In fact, no triangle is a quadrilateral. The definition of a quadrilateral is having 4 sides, while all trianlges must have 3 sides, making a triangle that is a quadrilateral impossible.

What is the differences in a triangle and a rectangle?

The main differences are. A triangle is three sided while a rectangle is four sided. The corners of a triangle can be any angle. All corners of a rectangle must be 90 degrees. This means that the left and right sides are parallel, and the top and bottom sides are parallel.

Is a right triangle an equilateral triangle?

No. Within a triangle, the sum of all of the angles must equal 180 degrees. All three angles are acute (60 degrees) in an equilateral triangle, while only two are in a right triangle, the other being a right angle (90 degrees). There obviously could not be three right angles (270 degrees).

Is it possible to have an isoceles right angle triangle while constructing a bridge?

Yes.

Right triangle and acute triangle are the same?

No. All three angles of an acute traingle are less than 90 degrees, so it cannot be a right triangle. The only similarity between them is that right angle triangle has 2 acute angles while acute triangles has 3 acute angles

What effect does doubling the base of a triangle have on the area?

Doubling the base of a triangle while keeping the height constant will double the area of the triangle. The area of a triangle is directly proportional to its base length, so increasing the base length by a factor of 2 will result in the area being multiplied by 2 as well.

Which shape has 3 sides and 1 line of symmetry?

An isosceles triangle.* * * * *An equilateral triangle has 3 lines of symmetry, while an isosceles triangle has only one, and any other triangle (non-isosceles right triangle, or scalene triangle) has zero.

What are the angle measurements for an isosceles right triangle?

An isosceles triangle has two sides and angles that are equal, causing it to have exactly a line of symmetry through it. A right triangle has one angle that is 90 degrees. An isosceles right triangle will always have one angle that is 90 degrees, while the other two angles will be 45 degrees.
