ok... This is very simple.Just find the center and measure from there to the outside then you have your radius. OR you could simply find the circumference. Then use Pi. Did you know that March 14 is Pi day because the date is 3-14 ?
find the radius of a circle with circumference of 42.1
Well, if you know the diameter you divide that by two to get the radius.
For a circle, circumference = 2 x pi x radius.
A circle with a radius of 8 inches has a circumference of 50.27 inches.
Circumference of a circle = 2*pi*radius
The radius of a circle is the distance from its centre to its circumference. If a circle has a radius of r units then the length of its circumference is 2*pi*r units.
The formula; 2 * Pi * Radius = circumference Will calculate the circumference of a circle.
Circumference of a circle = 2*pi*radius Circumference = 2*pi*5.6 = 35.18583772 units
Circumference of a circle = 2*pi*radius or diameter*pi
Circumference of a circle = 2*pi*radius or diameter*pi Area of a circle = pi*radius squared
Circumference of a circle = 2*pi*radius = 8*pi or 25.13274123 units
Circumference = 2 x pi x radius = 31.4159
