you can divide the perimeter(circumference) by pi(3.14) and then once you get your answer you divide that by two giving you the length of the radius of the circle.

ex:

perimeter = 34pi

34pi/pi

34/2=diameter

16=radius

2 x Pi x radius = circumference

How to find area and perimeter of circle?

The answer depends on what information you have about the circle. If you know the radius, thenArea = pi*r^2 and perimeter = 2*pi*r

How do you find the circumference of a circle when you know the area?

OK, SO to find the area of a circle, you find the radius (half of the diameter), and fit it into the equation πr2=A where r equals radius and A = area. The perimeter of a circle is π multiplied by the diameter. π is ≈ 3.1415296.

How do you find the radius of a circle if you know the radius?

You already know the radius.

How do you find the perimeter if you already know the circumference of a circle?

The circumference of a circle is the length of the circle's perimeter.

How do you find the radius of the base in a cylinder?

It depends on the values you have. The base of a cylinder is a circle. If you know the circle's diameter, half it to find the radius. If you know the circle's circumference, divide by 2pi to find the radius. If you know the circle's area, divide by pi and take the square root to find the radius.

What is the radius of a circle if you only know the perimeter?

Divide the perimiter, or circumference, by pi (3.1415), which is the diamter, then divide that by 2 to get the radius

How do you find the diameter of a circle when you know the radius?

Diameter = 2*Radius

How do you find the radius of a circle if you know the circumferance?

radius = circumference/2*pi

How do you find the radius and diameter of the circle if you know the area?

Area of Circle = pi (radius)2 So , using this formula we can find the radius and also the diameter. Diameter = 2(radius)
