Can there be parallel lines in a circle?

The two points on exactly opposite sides of a circle are parallel to each other. This can be evidenced by finding the derivative/gradient at those points; if they are the same then the two line segments described by those points are parallel.

How can two rays be parallel to each other?

If the slope of the lines are the same, it show that the lines are parallel.

How would you right two points of parallel segments?

What is the locus of points in space that are equidistant from two parallel planes?

A plane midway between the two given planes and parallel to them.

What are lines that have no points in common?

Answer: Two lines that never touch or have any points in common are parallel. If there was a slight angle difference with one of the lines, they would eventually cross somewhere. Perfectly parallel lines will always remain parallel and will never cross each other. Answer: If they are also in the same plane, they are said to be parallel.

How many points can 2 lines have in common?

If the two lines are actually "on top of each other", they can have infinitely many points in common. If they are parallel, they have no points in common. If they are perpendicular, they have one point in common.

Two lines in the same plane are what if they have no common points?
