CONVERTING DECIMAL TO FRACTION:

Example: Convert 12.2 to fraction

1. Make 12.2 into a whole number.

In this case, multiply 12.2 by 10.

2. Whatever is multiplied to 12.2 should also be divided to it so as not to change the value of 12.2.

Therefore:

12.2 * 10/10 = 122/10 or 61/5 in fraction in lowest term
