These are all improper fractions equal to 4 and one half.

The important thing to realize is that 4 and one half is 9/2.

Thank about it, 2 goes into 9 four times, with 1/2 left over.

Then, all i did to the 9/2 was multiply it by (2/2) twice.

This will allow it to keep the same ratio, and allow it to be a different improper fraction, even though they are all equal.
