I'm also fourteen. If you want a good 5k time you must practice and push yourself. What gets you through those short races is your long run. Start off with a mile and increase the distance at max 2 miles a week. Limit yourself at 12 miles. If you train properly you should easily be able to run a race in under 20 minutes. Another thing you can do is buy a good pair of trainers for your long runs and then track cleats for the races. I would recommend Asics but other brands will do. If you go to a running specialty store then they will tell you exactly what you need based on your arch. I have a naturally low arch and i need a high level of support for my feet so i don't get injured. Sorry for all the extra info but i though it might be helpful. If you walk 2.25 miles in 43 minutes your average speed is 3.14 miles per hour.
It depends on the person walking when it comes to how long it will take to walk 1.50 miles. Usually it takes about 20 - 30 minutes to walk just 1 mile. It depends on how fast the person is walking.
It depends on how fast you walk. A typical speed is 3 mph, so it would take one hour. But some people walk slowly and might require 3 hours to walk one mile, while others walk very fast and might cover that distance in 40-45 minutes, or even less.
40 minutes
Maybe we could extrapolate an answer to this question if there were some actual answers on this page. Since I can walk a mile in 20 minutes, I can extrapolate that I'll need 40 minutes to walk two miles.
