Surface area is ONE thing that can affect how fast an object falls. Two forces determine how fast an object falls - the force of gravity and the opposing drag on the object from the medium it is falling through. In the case of an object falling in a vacuum, there is no drag so the object falls strictly according to the law of gravity. If an object is dropped through a fluid such as air or water, it can reach a terminal velocity where the force of gravity is exactly counterbalanced by the opposing drag on the object. In this case acceleration ceases - although motion does not. In other words, the object continues to fall, but it doesn't speed up. Drag force is a function of object velocity, viscosity of the fluid it is falling through, the surface area of the falling object, the surface roughness of the falling object, and the geometry of the falling object (spheres usually have less drag than cubes for example).

Gravity: The pull of two objects on each other.Inertia: Basically something that slows any kind of acceleration or deceleration on a moving object.Yup, those two are the main forces that act on a falling object.
Both Velocity and Acceleration define of an object's rate of motion. Velocity defines how fast something is moving and, is measured in ft/sec, mi per hr, etc. Acceleration defines how fast the rate of speed (Velocity) is changing. When you push in the accelerator on a car, you make it go faster. Acceleration is measured in ft/sec/sec. OR how many ft/sec faster is it moving for every second that the acceleration is applied. EXAMPLE: The Acceleration due to Gravity is 32 ft/sec/sec. When you drop something, first released it starts to fall with 0 velocity; after one sec, is it falling at 32 ft/sec; after two seconds is it falling at 64 ft/sec., etc, etc, etc.
How fast something is going can be described in two ways. The most common is speed. This is simply the distance a body moves in a set time, if a body moves ten metres in two seconds its speed is five metres per second. The other way is mostly used in things like physics. It is called velocity, and simply means the speed of a body in a certain direction, ie. five metres per second northwards.
Two metres per second !
Falling is two syllables. Fall-ing
Two for My Seconds was created in 2006.
Regardless of the height from which it is falling, (neglecting air resistance) it's speed will be 19.62 metres per second. (Acceleration from gravity is 9.81 metres per second squared, so after 1 second it is moving at 9.81 metres per second and after 2 seconds it is moving at 19.62 metres per second.
only on the weekends 3:00 with 1 second through 3:00 with two seconds.[You have to be really fast]
To two decimal places, you would be travelling at 41.86 miles per hour.
The distance it covers in a unit of time.
Two hours is 7,200 seconds.
