In most cases that have been documented, the answer has been found to depend
on the speed with which the ball rolls. Generally speaking, those that roll at a
greater speed are observed to cover the specified distance in a shorter period of
time, while those that roll more slowly require more time to achieve the selfsame
distance. The relationship is quite nearly a true inverse proportion.
At 3 metres per second it will roll 6 metres in 2 seconds.
10000 x 27 = 270,000 square meters
how many meters make one roll of sinamaymaterial
A hollow ball.....

You get frictional force. That is because when the tennis ball furr and the grass rubs together you et friction.
I believe it does. If you imagine it with a bowling ball and two tennis balls, when you roll one tennis ball into another stationary tennis ball, it rolls away, but not that far. Now repeat the same experiment with a bowling ball and a tennis ball, the result is much clearer as to which moved the stationary tennis ball more. The bowling ball did as it has a larger mass and size.
At 3 metres per second it will roll 6 metres in 2 seconds.
That all depends on how hard you roll it. If you give it a light tap, it might not go anywhere.
If thrown at the same speed, a basketball. A basketball is heavier and will have momentum going with it while a tennis ball will have little momentum. A basketball will roll faster than most balls.
You put in on the ground on top of a hill and let go. What kind of sense does that question make?
Twice as long as it takes to roll halfway down the same ramp. Without knowing the size of the ball, and the length & angle of the ramp, thats the best I can tell you.
The magnitude of the balls displacement is 9 meters.
Since F= ma the much lighter tennis ball would receive much more acceleration and ,consequently, roll much farther, how far depend on the rolling surface. If they received the same initial velocity, they theoretically would roll the same distance bu it would again depend on the surface.
You can't answer this question if one doesn't know what balls you are talking about.
Grass makes a ball roll slower then it would on a dirt surface. This is because the long grass blades cause more friction on the ball slowing it down.
Tennis balls are sed to play the game of Tennis. Tennis is a game played on a rectangular court by two players or two pairs of players equipped with rackets, in which a ball is driven back and forth over a low net that divides the court in half. Jasmine :)
