6 and you won't need to cut any of them. They fit exactly
You need six sheets. And if you think about what you're doing, you don't have to cut anything . . . they fit right in.
First find the area of the floor and then the sheet of wood. 16*12=192 4*8=32 192/32=6 you need six sheets of plywood.
To cover a rectangle-shaped floor measuring 16x12, you will need 6 4x8 sheets of plywood. Arrange the sheets so that the longer side of the sheets line up along the longer edge of the floor.

(52 x 27) / (4 x 8) = 1404/32 = 43.875, so you need to buy 44 sheets
35 (4'x8' sheets) Solution Method: 40 / 8 = 5 28 / 4 = 7 5 * 7 = 35
Six sheets exactly
Assuming you mean sheets measuring 4 feet x 8 feet... Six sheets exactly.
-- Plywood normally comes in 4-ft x 8-ft sheets = 32 square feet.-- The area you have to cover is 10-ft x 12-ft = 120 square feet. You need 120/32 = 33/4 sheets worth of material, but you'll have tofigure out for yourself how to cut it.
