There are an infinite number of pairs of numbers that when multiplied together produce 120.

If the question refers to the length and width of the rectangle being integers then the solutions are the paired factors of 120.

1, 120 : 2, 60 : 3, 40 : 4, 30 : 5, 24 : 6, 20 : 8, 15 and 10, 12.

There are therefore 8 pairs if the distinction between length and width is not relevant, but there are 16 pairs (the above pairs plus the same numbers in reverse order) if the distinction is important.

What is a quadrilateral with two pairs of parallel?

A square or rectangle.

Why is every square also a rectangle?

A rectangle has four sides, in two pairs of equal length, and four angles, all of which are right angles. A square satisfies all of these requirements so a square is a rectangle. In adition, the two pairs of sides of a square are of equal length as well. That makes the square a very special kind of rectangle, but it is still a rectangle.

A square or a rectangle.

Why a square is a rectangle but a rectangle is not a square?

A rectangle is a plane four sided shape. It has two pairs of parallel sides which meet at right angles. So is a square. The opposite sides of a rectangle are equal but in a square all four sides are equal. So a square is a rectangle but a rectangle is not a square.

Why is a square considered a rectangle?

A rectangle is a quadrilateral with two pairs of parallel lines, meeting at right angles. So is a square.

Why square is a rectangle?

The definition of a rectangle: A figure that has 4 right angles, has congruent diagonals that bisect, has 2 pairs of parallel sides, and has 2 pairs of opposite congruent angles. A square has all of the above, and thus, is a rectangle by definition.
