There are 29 bones in the human head.

14 make up the bones in the facial area. In the skull, they are Occipital, parietal (Left and Right), frontal, temporal (L&R), sphenoid, and ethmoid.

The bones of the face are maxilla (L&R), mandible, zygomatic (L&R), lacrimal(L&R), vomer, nasal (L&R), turbinate (L&R) and L&R palate bones.

There are 6 total ossicles in the ears, malleus, incus and stapes, 3 on each side.

Some also include the hyoid bone, though it doesn't articulate with any other bones in the skull.
