Not all 55 gallon drums are the same size in height and diameter. To get an accurate check measure the diameter in inches and divide by .5 (this is the radius). Square that number - multiply by pi (3.14) and divide by 231. This will give you the gallons per inch. Good Luck Bob Raymond Bob.Raymond@kelleytech.com
4 quarts to a gallon. IF a 55 gallon drum is actually holding 55 gallons, it would be 4x55=220 quarts.
0.6528 gallon per foot (rounded)
There are 2 x half gallons in one gallon, so 6 x half gallon cartons is equal to 3 gallons.
1 gallon = 8 pints 34 gallons = 272 pints
there are 31.754 gallons in one ton
A 150-gallon drum contains 0.0036 gallon per cubic inch.
A 55-gallon drum equates to about 7.35 cubic feet of volume.
A gallon of honey roughly weighs 12lbs so assuming there is 55 gallons- 660lbs
1 drum = 55 us gallons 1 us gallon = 128 ounces 128 ounces x 55 us gallons = 7040 ounces 7040 ounces = 1 drum thus, there are 7040 ounces in a 55 gallon drum ;)
One gallon.
1 gallon = 8 pints 2 gallons = 16 pints . . 6 gallons = 48 pints

55 Imperial gallons = 250 L55 US gallons = 208.2 L
It depends entirely on the shape of the tank.
The drum has a capacity of 55 gallons. We have no way of knowing how many gallons are actually in it at any particular time. For all we know, it may be empty, and you may be just trying to trick us.
I just created a measure stick for my rain barrel made from a 55 gallon food drum measuring 35.5 inches high. My gal per inch calc is 1.56, so 1 inch equals 1.56 gallons for my barrel. I put interval markings at every 10 gallons so my measurements were as follows: 10 gallons = 6.5" 20 gallons = 12.8" 30 gallons = 19.2" 40 gallons = 25.6" 50 gallons = 32" 55 gallons = 35.5" These are obviousely approximate and estimated for a perfectly tubular barrel, but they are close enough for my purposes.
Approx 18.18 US gallons. Here's how: 1 US gallon = 231 in³. So we have (14 in)(50 in)(6 in)/(231 in/gallon) = 18.18 gallons.
