Apart from the fact that there is no such thing as a desrt spoon, there is no equivalence between the two measures in the question..

A gram is a measure of mass. A dessert spoonful is a measure of volume. The two measure different things and, according to basic principles of dimensional analysis, conversion from one to the other is not valid.

A dessert spoonful of air will have a mass considerably less than a gram, whereas a dessert spoonful of material from a neutron star will have a mass of around 7 billion tons. Admittedly, these are extreme examples, but I hope it illustrates the pointlessness of trying to answer such a question.
