a centilitre is just the same as a cm, because a cm has 10 mm in right? so a centlitre has 10 ml in. Therefore you need 100 centiltres to make a litre as each one has 10 ml in.

Abbriviation- cl.

Nowadays we dont use centilitres that often we just stick to millilitres. But on some liquidsa u may find it, such as, evian water bottles. They have 50cl in becauase there is 500ml in each bottle!
