EVERY day is 24 hours long. They never get longer or shorter, regardless of the date.

If you're asking about the length of DAYLIGHT, then that completely depends on

the latitude of your location.

Examples:

-- On Dec 21st at the north pole, the sun has been down for the past 92 days

and it won't rise at all for another 92 days.

-- On Dec 21st at the south pole, the sun has been up for the past 92 days

and it won't set at all for another 92 days.

-- At any latitude between 23.5° and 66.5° South, each day after Dec 21st will be

shorter than the previous one.
