There can be no answer. A mm is a unit of linear displacement whereas a degree is either a measure of educational qualification, of temperature or of angular displacement. In any case, they measure different characteristics with different dimensions. According to the basic principles of dimensional analysis, any such conversion is fundamentally flawed.

1000*sin(3 deg) = 52.3 mm.
There are 10 mm in a cm, so 8 cm in equivalent to 80 mm. 80 mm / 2 mm = 40. Therefore, 8 cm is 40 times as long as 2 mm.
5.8 ft = 1767.84 mm
It is: 8*8 = 6.4 cm
1 m = 1,000 mm 8 m = 8,000 mm
0.315" Direct Conversion Formula 8 mm* 1 in 25.4 mm = 0.3149606299 in

80 mm
203.2 mm Direct Conversion Formula 8 in* 25.4 mm 1 in = 203.2 mm
86 millimeters 8 centimeters plus 6 mm= 80 mm plus 6 mm

1000*sin(3 deg) = 52.3 mm.
1 in = 25.4 mm ⇒ 11/8 in = 11/8 x 25.4 mm = 2823/40 mm ≈ 28.6 mm
