According to the 2005 NEC Annex C, table C.1 you are allowed nine #12 THHN conductors in a 1/2" trade size EMT conduit.
If your conduit run is any length at all, you would be wise to increase the conduit size to 3/4". as pulling 9 #12's for any length in 1/2" EMT is very difficult.
9
9 - Is this a test answer or do you just want to know for a project you're doing? Take a look at NEC chapter 9 - tables 4 and 5 (in the 2005 edition at least)

It varies by conduit type. If you don't know the type, use 9.
Water and metal are the two most well known conductors. They are conductors because they let electricity flow through them. Humans are also conductors because more than half of our body contains water.
You are allowed to sing half a song if you want to, but it will be not be as interesting to everyone listening.
it means 3conductors(ie RYB) and half neutral ie size of neutral would be half size of other conductors...
What is half of the number 9?
2
No that is not allowed. The server stays on one half and the other person stays on the other half.
947.5 is half of the number 1895.
Depending on the speed conductors take in various sections, three and a half hours, more or less.
