On the New York State Algebra 2/Trigonometry regents examination, it is recommended to get at least 20 of the 27 part I multiple choice questions correct. When you reach the Part II, III, and IV there are 12 question remaining for a total of 39 questions on the examination. Part IV is the last section, containing 1 question which is arguably the longest and most difficult on the test. The grading and conversation chart changes per each test, but is recommended to get at least 7 of the 12 Part II,III, and IV correct (however it varies per question how many points each question is worth.) That is the basic outline of the exam, and each student is given 3 hours to complete the examination. Good luck if you are taking it.
