A 6000 BTU air conditioner can cool a room that is about 150 to 250 square feet. If the room is a very sunny room then it would lean more towards the smaller end of the room size.
It's not that simple. What is your solar gain like? A 200 sq. foot room with no outside walls and no windows will be a lot less than a 200sq foot sun porch. It also depends on how hot it gets where you are. Cooling 200 sq. feet in say Death Valley is going to take a bit more than it will in Seattle, WA.
As a rule of thumb, you're looking at about 9000-10000 BTU if you have average insulation, not a lot of windows, etc.
Tip: Do NOT undersize your AC. When an AC is too small, it runs harder and burns up a LOT more power. If you must err on size, go bigger. It will pay off in the long run as it will be far more efficient and use lots less power.

"Miles" are a 1 dimensional (linear) measure..... acres are 2 (area) dimensional. Hence a trick question and cannot be answered as posed. If, however, you mean to ask "How many square miles in 960 acres"...... There are 43560 square feet in an acre. Therefore 960 acres = 960 x 43560 sq feet = 41,817,600 sq feet A square mile = 5,280 x 5280 square feet = 27,878,400 Therefore... Divide 41,817,600 by 27,878,400 = 1.5 square miles.
