but here we r having actually having 5*4 squares.......coz 6&5= horizontal & verticle lines makn the 5*4 squares....
so to solve this we r===========....
5*4{1st row,1st col},
4*3{2nd row,2nd col},
3*2{3rd row,3rd col},
2*1{4th row,4th col}=
.........20+12+6+2===>40 squares..i hope this helps
its easy draw a reactangle 5*4 and analse it ...its too easy just try to understand
