NO such thing as a 20 sided pentagon.
The word 'pentagon' means a 2-dimensional five(5) sided figure. So how can it have 20 sides.
From the Classical Languages ;-
Penta = 5;
'gon' = two dimensional figure/shape.
20.
18 triangles
unknown
18. If a polygon has n sides, then it has n-2 triangles.There are 18 triangles in a 20 sided polygon.
There are 20 triangles inside a 22 sided polygon
It can be divided into 18, hope this helps!
it would have 18 triangles because u take 2 away each time.
There are separate geometric solids defined by sides:rhombic icosahedron (20-sided planar oblate spheroid shape)rhombic dodecahedron (12-sided planar solid)The icosidodecahedron (with 32 sides: 20 triangles and 12 pentagon faces) has the 30-sided rhombic dual shape called the rhombic triacontahedron.
Oh, dude, there are technically 35 triangles in a pentagon. You've got the main five triangles from the pentagon itself, then you can make 10 more by connecting each vertex to the other non-adjacent vertices, and finally, you can make 20 more by connecting each vertex to the midpoint of the opposite side. So, yeah, 35 triangles in total, if you're into that kind of thing.
A 5 sided pentagon has 5 vertices
A 5 sided shape is a pentagon. Its perimeter has no relevance.
An infinite number. Just when you think you are done, pick any triangle, draw a line from any of its vertices to the opposite side and you have spilt that triangle in two. As a result the number of triangles is increased by one. You think you are done? Pick any triangle, ...
